FIELD: biotechnology.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to biotechnology. Method of producing alkene, involving conversion of 3-hydroxyalkanoate into said alkene using a first enzyme having activity of converting 3-hydroxyalkanoate into corresponding 3-phosphonoxyalkanoate, and a second enzyme, which is structurally different from first enzyme and having activity to convert said 3-phosphonoxyalkanoate into said alkene, wherein first and second enzymes are MDP (mevalonate diphosphate) decarboxylase. Disclosed is a recombinant microorganism to obtain alkene, which is transformed by heterologous nucleic acid molecules, coding at least two said enzymes. Disclosed is a reaction mixture for enzymatic production of alkene, containing said microorganism, culture medium and 3-hydroxyalkanoate compound.
EFFECT: group of inventions enables to improve overall efficiency of method of producing alkene from 3-hydroxyalkanoate and increase product of obtained alkene.
