FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electrical engineering and can be used to create devices for monitoring and measuring the insulation resistance of AC networks with an isolated neutral of more than 1000 V. The claimed method involves reducing the voltage using a two-winding step-down three-phase transformer, the windings of which are connected according to the “star” scheme, connecting the primary windings to the phases of the AC network with an isolated neutral of more than 1000 V, and the secondary windings to the inputs of a three-phase rectifier bridge, a galvanic connection of an AC network with an isolated neutral of more than 1000 V is carried out with the inputs of a three-phase rectifier bridge, by connecting the common output of the primary windings to the common output of the secondary windings of a two-winding step-down three-phase transformer.
EFFECT: increase in the reliability of the equipment by reducing the voltage at the inputs of the three-phase rectifier bridge.
