FIELD: motor vehicle industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the purification of internal combustion engine exhaust gases. Described is exhaust system for the exhaust gas from internal combustion engine purification. Said system comprises modified NOx (LNT) trap in the depleted of NOx exhausts, urea injection system and the selective catalytic reduction catalyst by means of ammonia (NH3-SCR). Said modified LNT comprises platinum, palladium, barium and containing the cerium dioxide material, and has the platinum to palladium molar ratio of at least 3:1. Said modified LNT accumulates NOx at temperatures below about 200°C and releases the accumulated NOx at temperatures above about 200°C. Said urea injection system injects urea at temperatures of above about 180°C.
EFFECT: with the use of invention, a system is created, which is capable of NOx emissions reduction during the cold start-up, at that maintaining the CO oxidation high activity and demonstrating the resistance to deactivation due to sulfation.
