SUBSTANCE: method for determining the optimal time of ovulation in cows includes the study of mucus, at that the mucus taken with a cottonwool stick from the oral cavity, a smear is made and placed on a glass slide, air dried, examined under a microscope at 100-fold magnification, the ovulation is diagnosed by the presence of crystalline ferny pattern.
EFFECT: use of the invention enables to determine ovulation in cows.
