FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, physical therapy, treatment of lumbar osteochondrosis with disc herniation and prolapse. 12-36 classes of exercises, 2-5 series of each are conducted, minimum number of repetitions is 2-20 per series, pain shall be overcome by saying the sound "HA" at exhalation. The class begins with hanging on the bar and lifting of legs bent in the knees at the right angle up to the chest level. Then, additional hanging on the bar is performed with torso twisting and lifting of legs bent in the knees at the right angle up to the chest level; hanging on the bar with legs tilting to the left and right and lifting of legs bent in the knees at the right angle; hanging on the bar and leg bending in the knees and lowering them at exhalation; hanging on the bar with movement of legs which simulates running; hanging on the bar with straight legs moved apart and crossed. A class is completed by deep squats while standing on the floor with a support on the feet, and with hands up during pelvis lowering to the heels. Torso is bent in the hip joints with straight legs, standing on the floor with a support on the feet. Joint exercises for the lumbar, abdominal section and hip joint are performed, by striking with one or two legs in lying position, bent or straight legs rotation in the hips. Psychotherapeutic self-hypnosis aimed at rehabilitation is performed, lying in a relaxed state, and shower is taken at water temperature of 4-6°C for 10-120 s.

EFFECT: invention provides self-treatment of the said pathology using only one training device - a horizontal bar.
