SUBSTANCE: invention relates to transportation and construction, in particular, to reservoirs for fluids or gases and supporting structures for them. Steel cylindrical reservoir for oil storage, mounted on base 1, comprising body wall 2, bottom with an inclination from the center to periphery 3, cover 4, pontoon 5 with a sealing gate, receiving-distributing branch pipes, according to the invention, inlet branch pipe 6 is composed of two pipelines, located at an angle of 120 degrees to each other and tightly welded in one hole, and outlet branch pipe 7 is installed on the diametrically opposite side of the walls of the reservoir body, on branch pipes 6 and 7 there is shut-off valves 8, and the afflux of liquid flow through inlet branch pipe 6 is alternately directed by opening-closing of shut-off valve 8.

EFFECT: invention provides a reservoir design, which enables to prevent formation of bottom deposits and increase the useful volume of the reservoir.
