FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: according to the invention: plasma is generated through the microdischarge with a hollow cathode near the output and inside the means of gaseous working flow-out injection, wherein the indicated means of injection is magnetic and comprises a tagging at its outlet end, electrons of the magnetized plasma are set to a cyclotron rotation at the outlet end of the indicated means of injection. The plasma is maintained by the electron cyclotron resonance (ECR), wherein the indicated means of injection is designed metallic and used as the antenna of the electromagnetic (EM) radiation. The plasma volume in the ECR resonance condition at the output of the indicated means of injection is used as an electromagnetic resonator, the plasma is accelerated in a magnetic jet nozzle with the help of the diamagnetic force. Exhaust plasma is electrically neutral.
EFFECT: improving engine efficiency while reducing its size.
