SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to therapeutic dentistry, and is intended for application in repeated endodontic treatment. Old restorative material is removed and evacuation of softened obturation material, containing gutta-percha, is realised by means of solvent. Drug, as well as instrumental processing of canals is realised, and re-filling is performed. Grapefruit essential oil is used as solvent for obturation material.
EFFECT: method ensures reduction of time for cleaning root canals in retreatment, as well as reduction of quantity of possible complications after retreatment.
