FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: series of vehicle noise level measurements are performed, that moves on the dimensional area on all forward gears with the registration of the obtained values including the values of the speed and the noise levels at the determined pitch on the position of the vehicle dimensional plot. The second series of measurements is performed with the coasting speed, the value of which is defined by the totality of the speed values given in the first series of measurements with the registration of the actual values with the help of the memory device. Calculation of the noise levels is produced by linear interpolation using the known mathematical expression taking into account parameters such as the vehicle speed on the dimensional plot, the nearest fixed speed, the value of which is lower than the speed set in the first series of measurements, the value of the outer noise level resulting in the certain vehicle position, the nearest latching speed, that is higher than the speed value set in the first series of measurements, the value of the noise level for the given speed. The chart of the noise levels is built.
EFFECT: increase of workability and accuracy of the noise measuring .
