FIELD: animal breeding.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of fodders and is intended for processing of animal and vegetable waste products in order to obtain protein additives to fodder ration of animals, birds and fishes. Method of production of fodder includes dosing, milling of components, their mixing, extrusion, dehydration and cooling. Dehydration and product cooling are carried out as continuous process of extruder, equipped with vacuum chamber located coaxially to auger and die of machine matrix. Intensity of dehydration and cooling of product is controlled by pressure value in vacuum chamber. Wherein mixture of animal and vegetal waste products is extruded during 10–15 s at temperature of 105–110 °C and at die outlet it is treated with low pressure equal to 0.05–0.09 MPa. Moisture content in ready product is controlled by pressure value in vacuum chamber of extruder at level of no more than 12–14 %, amount of vegetable waste products with moisture content of 10–15 % makes 20–90 % of mixture, and moisture content and amount of animal waste products are selected so, that moisture of extruded mixture does not exceed 35–40 %. At extruder die matrix outlet product is cut into particles with length not exceeding half diameter of die.

EFFECT: invention implementation provides intensification of thermal vacuum effects on obtained product at simultaneously simplified process and reduced labor intensiveness.
