FIELD: fodders.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to fodder production technology, in particular, to fodders production method. Method is characterized by that a mixture of animal and vegetable wastes with moisture content of 41–50 % is treated in an extruder equipped with two in-series vacuum chambers - preliminary and final dewatering. Pressure is 0.03–0.04 MPa in the preliminary dehydration chamber and 0.07–0.08 MPa in the final dehydration chamber. Temperature of the extrudate at the spinneret outlet is maintained at 120–130 °C. Preliminary dehydration chamber is made coaxially to the screw and extruder matrix die, is connected to the vacuum cylinder by a pipe and in its lower part contains an air valve to suck air into the vacuum chamber, and the final dehydration chamber is located between the gate valves and is also connected to the vacuum cylinder by a branch pipe.
EFFECT: invention usage allows to process raw materials with high humidity.
