SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to electrical engineering. Method for automatic control of technical condition of elements of mixed storage battery includes processing information of control results in N+1 output terminals for connecting controlled accumulators at N control points, numbering series control points, scaling currents from each element of storage battery with scaling factor from each control point, currents from each control point are summed at summation point and sent via communication channel to information processing facility, where they are processed to identify number of faulty element of storage element. There is also a device for automatic monitoring of technical condition of mixed storage battery.

EFFECT: group of inventions provides high reliability of element-by-element control of battery state in case of failure of storage battery in whole range of modes of operation of autonomous power supply.
