SUBSTANCE: invention relates to 2-amino-3-methyl-hex-5-enoic acid, which can be used for producing peptides, such as bacitracins, having antibacterial activity. Invention also relates to a method of producing 2-amino-3-methyl-hex-5-enoic acid and its use for synthesis of bacitracins.
EFFECT: obtaining peptides with antibacterial activity.
