FIELD: construction.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of construction, in particular to the method of mounting the cylindrical tank. The method of building the tank having a metallic inner vessel and a concrete outer vessel, includes the following stages: construction of walls made of the precast concrete on the outer peripheral edge section of the base plate, assembling of the outer vessel roof on the base plate different from the outer peripheral edge section of the base plate, lifting of the outer vessel roof located on the base plate by a jack-up unit while the wall made of the precast concrete is being elevated, fixing the outer vessel roof on the wall made of the precast concrete and assembling of the inner vessel regardless of the outer vessel roof in the space under the outer vessel roof which is created as a result of lifting.
EFFECT: invention provides reduction of terms of construction of the cylindrical tank.
