FIELD: oil-and-gas industry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to devices for fluid lifting from wells for use in oil industry for oil production. The drive comprises a motor, a gearbox, a mechanism converting rotation to reciprocating movement. Axles of the converting mechanism, counterweight and flexible link are near one vertical plane. A top driven sheave is installed in a housing with possibility of rotation and limited movement along axle of the converting mechanism to regulate tension of the continuous flexible link using a tensioner. The mechanism comprises a movable housing with axle of sheave installed on longitudinal carriers of the drive housing and connected with a pusher. The pusher is made in form of screw jack comprising jack bases connected by hinges in form of a rhomb. Opposite corners of the rhomb are made with possibility of approach or separation under action of a screw pair. One base of jack is fixed relatively to the housing, another base is fixed relatively to the movable housing. Screw of the screw pair is connected with motor drive to move the jack base with movable part of the tensioner upon tension decreasing of the flexible link below selected value of tension force of the flexible link. It comprises a load sensor functionally linked with a control unit.

EFFECT: drive of oil well pump automatically maintaining permanent tension of the flexible link of the converting mechanism with remote testing of its operation, and excludes effect of ultimate moment on the tensioner operability.
