SUBSTANCE: invention relates to piston compressors, used in oil and gas industry, having actuated rotary valves with sealing profiles between a rotor and a stator. Actuated rotary valve 500 includes a stator having a stator opening, and a rotor having a rotor opening. Either rotor or stator has a sealing profile extruding from a surface of rotor or of stator towards an interface therebetween. Sealing profile surrounding a respective one of rotor opening or stator opening.
EFFECT: increased passage flow area, thus providing high efficiency of compressor, by improving suction and/or discharge phase.
