FIELD: communication.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to satellite radio communication and can be used to organize a higher quality satellite communication under atmospheric disturbances. For this purpose the method of adaptation of the modes of transmitting information over satellite communication channels in the conditions of atmospheric disturbances and the device implementing it used is adaptive evaluation and adaptive prediction of the signal-to-noise ratio in a satellite communication channel, receiving a prediction error, transmitting to a central Earth station the status information and the prediction error data for each radio channel in the network, making a decision and (or) its correction on the central Earth station on setting parameters of transceiving information for active satellite communication network terminals.
EFFECT: technical result is increasing capacity of a satellite communication channel (network).
