SUBSTANCE: invention relates to compounds of general formula (IA) and pharmaceutically acceptable salts thereof, which have M3 muscarinic receptor antagonist action. In formula (IA) R₁ represents a group of formula (a), where R₃ and R₄ are identical or different and denote H or aryl, which can be optionally substituted with one or more substitutes selected from a group consisting of halogen atoms, (C₁-C₆)alkoxy and (C₁-C₆)haloalkyl, provided that R₃ and R₄ are not simultaneously H; R₂ represents a group of formula (c), where A^- is a physiologically acceptable anion, and R₅ represents a group of formula (e), where p equals 0, 1, 2 or 3, P is absent or selected from a group consisting of -O-, -C(O)- and -CON(H)-, q is equal to 0, 1 or 2, and W is selected from a group consisting of (C₁-C₆)alkyl, (C₂-C₆)alkenyl, aryl and heteroaryl, optionally substituted with one or more substitutes, selected from a group consisting of halogen atoms, OH, CN, (C₁-C₆)alkyl and (C₁-C₆)alkoxy.
