FIELD: medical equipment.

SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to medical equipment, in particular to medical wound dressing applicable in negative pressure wound therapy (NPWT). Wound contact member for the negative pressure wound therapy (NPWT), specified to reduce pain when removed from the wound includes a network of compressed elements separated by pores, as well as at least one attribute, selected from a group. Set comprises: at least 95 % compressed elements, having thickness from 0.007 to 0.5 mm, and one or more compressed elements, having thickness 0.23 mm or more, as measured by microcomputer tomography. At least 90 % of pores have diameter from 2.3 to 5.5 mm. Device for human or animal wound treatment by negative pressure wound therapy (NPWT) includes: said wound contact element and the cover element. Cover element is configured with possibility to generate a tight shell around the wound contact element after that a wound contact element is applied on the wound bed. Method for treatment of wounds comprises application of said wound contact member on the wound bed.

EFFECT: group of inventions provides the growth of granulation tissue in the wound bed simultaneously with prevention or reduction of tissue ingrowth into the wound contact element.
