SUBSTANCE: group of inventions refers to medical equipment. Wound treatment device contains a cover layer to create negative pressure over the wound. The coating layer includes an opening through which the atmospheric gases and exudate leave the wound. The device also comprises a vacuum port connected to the cover layer and creating a tight water seal around the opening in the covering layer. The said port comprises an inner cavity connected to the opening in the covering layer, and a connector for a suction device. The device has a sealing member which fills the wound and supports the covering layer when the negative pressure is delivered to the reservoir. The sealing member includes separate, elongated strips extended from the distal surface of the covering layer. The elongated strips contain open-cell foam. Also the options of the said device with different types of sealing member are disclosed. For one option, the member is provided with multiple strips, wherein the strips are encapsulated in polymeric shells and are stiffer compared to non-encapsulated elongated stripes. For the second option, the member is helically coiled and includes a tear line separating the individual coils of the sealing element helix.
