FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to the medicine, particularly to the vascular surgery. The stenting is performed by means of the introduction of a balloon, on which stents of chromium-cobalt with the length of 5-7 mm and distance of at least one their length between each other are preliminarily installed in the form of a chain. After that, the balloon is inflated to the extent, when its diameter is 1-2 mm higher than the diameter of an artery; then, the balloon is removed.
EFFECT: method of elimination of the possibility of mechanical damage of a structure, its shifting, bending, or deformation during the treatment of the obliterating atherosclerosis of the lower limb vessels in the area of axial deformations.
