FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: locomotive traction converter contains n-number of the electricity conversion channels. Conversion channels are formed by the diesel generator frequency converter, n-number of converters, excitation current control device, interconnected by the internal bus bars. At the same time, diesel generator frequency converter is connected to n-number of converters and excitation current control device. Diesel generator frequency converter, n-number of converters, excitation current control device contain software allowing to manage, protect and diagnose their own channel.
EFFECT: expanding the functionality of the locomotive traction converter.
