FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to dentistry, and can be used for diagnostics of glossitis, conditioned by affection with Epstein-Barr virus. Patients' complaints are collected. Complaints about constant pain and burning sensation in tongue which are not associated with food intake are determined. Character of fur on dorsal surface of tongue is determined: dense, white-yellow, is not removed when scratched with spatula. Presence of hyperplastic simultaneously mushroom-like, circumvallate, filamentous and leaf-like tongue papillae is determined. Hyperplastic lymphoid tissue near base of tongue is determined. If all above said signs are simultaneously present, glossitis, conditioned by affection with Epstein-Barr virus is diagnosed.
EFFECT: method makes it possible to perform diagnostics of glossitis, conditioned by affection with Epstein-Barr virus due to determination of the most essential signs.
