FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine. Wound closing device creating negative pressure contains wound filler, which is characterized by size and shape, to be placed in wound hole, and which has ability of reduction at least along first direction relative to second direction at application of negative pressure to filler. Wound filler is characterized by length along x axis, width along y axis and height along z axis. Wound filler comprises stabilizing structure containing network of interconnected stabilizing elements for provision of reduction in at least one first direction and preventing reduction in at least one second direction. Stabilizing structure prevents reduction in direction of height and allows reduction of wound filler in plane x-y. Interconnected stabilizing elements of network turn relative to each other during reduction of wound filler.
EFFECT: invention provides creation of negative pressure, which specifically applies force to wound edges in order to facilitate wound closure, while reducing need for periodic replacement of filler, faster healing and simultaneous use of negative pressure to remove fluids from wound.
