FIELD: power industry.
SUBSTANCE: method for converting solar thermal energy and mechanical energy of air motion into electrical energy includes air heat in a heating chamber, formed by the lower flat horizontal surface and the upper translucent surface, and moving along the air heating chamber, the air enters it from its end through input spiraling vanes in direction to a vertical exhaust pipe with inlet valves installed in the center of the heating chamber on its translucent surface. The air coming from the end of the heating chamber is moved along the heating chamber with a constant convective speed by providing constant heating chamber area in the direction from its end to the vertical exhaust pipe which is equal to the area of the end of the heating chamber, the coefficient of material expansion of the heating chamber is equal to the coefficient of air volumetric expansion.
EFFECT: increased efficiency of conversion of solar thermal energy and mechanical energy of air motion into electrical energy, that can be used in wind power stations, helping to increase its power and economical operation.
