FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: sorbent regeneration involves its placing in a tank, feeding of plasma generating gas - oxygen and subsequent processing in the dielectric barrier discharge at a discharge input voltage of 10.0-20.0 kW. Diatomite is subjected to regeneration. Treatment is carried out in a dielectric barrier discharge for 0.5-1.5 minutes at a gas flow rate of 0.5-1.5 liters/minute.
EFFECT: increased sorbent regeneration efficiency, reduced processing time, lower energy costs and possibility of multiple sorbent recovery.
