FIELD: heating.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a plate-type heat exchanger with folded plates having recesses forming contact surfaces between the plates. To obtain optimal balance between strength and flow condition, recesses are arranged as a matrix structure with a distance X1 between the centers of recesses in adjacent rows and a distance X2 between the centers of recesses in adjacent columns, wherein recesses with a circumference of C, and C/X1 is in the range of 1.03 to 2.3.
EFFECT: increased intensification of heat exchange.
