FIELD: communication equipment; data processing.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of compressing messages transmitted between a payment terminal and a communication terminal. Method involves: the stage of initializing an external interface of communication with the said communication terminal; the first stage of transmitting by the said payment terminal to the said communication terminal a request for creation of remote virtual channels via the said external communication interface; the stage of creating inside the said payment terminal local virtual channels corresponding to the said remote virtual channels; the second stage of transmitting data frames associated with the said local virtual channels via the said external communication interface.
EFFECT: technical result is higher security of the connection between a payment terminal and a communication terminal.
