FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: impressions of the upper and lower jaw are taken preliminarily, a plaster model is cast. An occlusive roller with silicone mass bandages are formed on the plaster model. The thickness of the occlusal roll bandages are formed not to injure the tongue when using the mouth guard. Then, a bioinert material film is heated on the plaster model with a silicone occlusive roller, and the model is crimped tightly. After cooling, it is removed, and the obtained mouth guard is fit to the dentition until complete surfaces congruence.
EFFECT: method allows simplified production of mouth guard, reduced adjustment time, eliminated allergic reactions and improved mouth guard wearing convenience.
