SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to orthopedic dentistry. The method for manufacturing and occlusal correction of stabilizing milled splints for night use from polymethyl methacrylate includes obtaining two-layer impressions, scanning models of the upper and lower jaws, fixing the models in the articulator and scanning the models located in the interframe space of the articulator with separation of the dentition by 0.5 mm in the distal regions using a scanner. Further, the route of insertion of the splint is determined, a cement gap is formed with a thickness of 30 microns, the boundaries of the splint are outlined below the clinical equators of the teeth, the main volume of the splint is created, formation of imprints of antagonist teeth and the height of overlap of the vestibular and palatine tubercles of the upper jaw teeth at 1-1.2 mm from the tuber apex and performing virtual occlusal correction to form the inner part of the splint. Then the stage of fitting the splint onto the real model, relining its inner surface with acrylic plastic and performing occlusal correction of the stabilizing splint using a computerized occlusion monitoring apparatus.

EFFECT: achieved the possibility of blocking the horizontal vector of displacement of the lower jaw during bruxing and reducing the hypertonicity of the masticatory muscles.
