METHOD OF PREDICTION OF CLINICAL COURSE OF TUBERCULOSIS Russian patent published in 2017 - IPC G01N33/50

Abstract RU 2613320 C2

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to phthisiology, and can be used for prediction of pulmonary tuberculosis. Method of prediction of clinical course of tuberculosis, including determination of concentration of taurine in blood plasma, wherein concentration of taurine in monocytes is additionally determined, thereafter ratio of concentration of taurine in plasma to concentration of taurine in monocytes is analyzed, and if ratio is from 0.5 to 0.69, probability of infiltrative tuberculosis is predicted, if ratio is from 0.7 to 1, probability of developing tuberculoma is predicted, if it is above 1, probability of developing cystic cavernous tuberculosis is predicted.

EFFECT: method described above enables more reliable prediction of clinical course of tuberculosis.
