FIELD: medicine; phthisiology.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in treating patients with pulmonary tuberculosis combined with diabetes mellitus. Method includes complex diagnostics of patient, which includes the assessment of the prevalence of the tuberculosis process according to the chest MSCT, the establishment of the clinical form of pulmonary tuberculosis and the detection of the spectrum of drug resistance of the agent. Severity of diabetes mellitus is assessed, complications of diabetes mellitus are detected by determining disturbed carbohydrate metabolism, determining liver and kidney dysfunction by biochemical blood test and performing a general blood test, a general urine test, an ECG. That is followed by insulin therapy taking into account the severity of diabetes mellitus in the form of short and prolonged action insulins, and an individual regimen of anti-tuberculosis chemotherapy. In the presence of drug sensitivity to all anti-tuberculosis drugs, a safe regimen of 6 months Isoniazid 0.6 per os a day is used, Rifampicin 0.45 per os daily, Terizidone 0.75 per os daily, Levofloxacin 0.75 per os daily. In the presence of drug resistance, the regimen is applied for 18 months—Bedaquiline 0.4 per os daily for 2 weeks, then 0.2 mg per os 3 times a week on Monday, Wednesday and Friday, Linezolid 0.6 mg per os per day, Terizidone 0.75 per os per day, Moxifloxacin 0.4 per os per day.
EFFECT: using the invention enables achieving higher clinical effectiveness in the patients suffering pulmonary tuberculosis combined with diabetes mellitus by minimizing the development of adverse reactions by correcting the chemotherapy regimen.
