FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to ophthalmology, and can be applied in experimental medicine in order to reinforce albugo tissues at different stages of keratoprosthetics. Cornea cut is carried out in experimental animals concentrically to limb. Corneal intrastromal recess is formed, in which implant is introduced in form of disk with diameter 9-12 mm and thickness 0.2-0.5 mm, consisting of 4-5 mg of type I collagen and 100-300 mcg of growth factor rhBMP-2.
EFFECT: method of improving cornea biomechanical properties in experiment, creation of favourable ground for further keratoprosthetics, which leads to reduction of operative and postoperative complications in treatment of burn cornea albugos.
