SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, specifically to ophthalmology. For keratoprosthetics with burns, the cornea is strengthened by the disc of the autochthonous of the auricle, implantation of the supporting element of the keratoprosthesis with subsequent implantation of the optical cylinder of the keratoprosthesis. Preliminarily, the throat is covered with a full-thickness flap of the mucous membrane of the lip. After 4 months, intralamellar implantation of the supporting member is carried out and a disc of the autochondrial of the auricle with a hole in the center on the surface of the thorn is fixed. After 4–5 months, an optical cylinder of the keratoprosthesis is implanted.

EFFECT: method allows to reduce the risk of aseptic necrosis of the cornea and to exclude the rejection of the keratoprosthesis due to double strengthening of the thorn before keratoprosthetics.
