FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely, to ophthalmology, and can be used for keratoprosthesis of thinned burn leukoma. Perform strengthening of the leukoma with an autologous implant from the lip. In addition, after 4 months, strengthen the leukoma with an implant using an autochondrial disk from the auricle. After 4–5 months, a supporting element of the keratoprosthesis with a temporary optical cylinder is placed between the leukoma and the autochondrial disc. After another 4 months, a continuous trepanation of the leukoma is performed in the center of the keratoprosthesis, replacing the temporary prosthesis with a permanent optical cylinder.
EFFECT: method provides a reduction in the risk of aseptic necrosis of the cornea, perforation of the thinned cornea and exclusion of rejection of the keratoprosthesis due to the phased strengthening of the leukoma before keratoprosthesis with a full-fledged flap of the mucous membrane of the lip, and then autochthonous from the auricle, implantation of the haptic part of the keratoprosthesis between the autochondrial disk and the own thinned cornea.
