FIELD: medicine; traumatology; orthopedics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to traumatology and orthopedic, it can be used for treatment of gunshot defects of the thighbone. The bone marrow cavity is drilled, and intramedullary nail fixation is performed with distal and proximal blocking with simultaneous restoration of the segment length. Then, an osteotomy is performed in the meta-epiphyseal zone of the longer fragment, and the thighbone is fixed with a compression device of external fixation so that the submerged device elements fix the intermediate fragment and the shorter fragment. After 10 days, the intermediate fragment is moved to the defect zone at a rate of 1 mm per day. Upon reaching contact between the intermediate fragment and the end of the short fragment, the scars between the joining ends of the fragments are removed and fixed with a compression plate. The external device is dismantled.
EFFECT: method allows minimizing time of the thighbone fixation with a compression-distraction device of external fixation, starting early rehabilitation and improving the anatomical and functional result of the treatment due to the combination of techniques of the claimed invention.
