SUBSTANCE: method comprises scanning of the radio-electronic equipment elements of the controlled object by the plasma jet at the potential difference between the plasma and the object below the pressure level, harmful to the control object, with simultaneous recording of electrical current from the object to the plasma, the pre-controlled object is completely immersed in the plasma, identifying at this stage the continuity defect of the dielectric coating on the object, and, if necessary, further scanning of the object elements is performed by the plasma jet with a cross section that provides the defect localization accuracy.
EFFECT: providing opportunities to reduce the detection time of the dielectric coating defect continuity while maintaining the reliability of the testing results.
