FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: plant for plasma cutting of metal by penetrating electric arc may find use for cutting of complex profile metal with any clearance and under direct contact with metal of one-time firing of plant. Output electrode is anode and has discharge tubular conduit for electric arc constantly burning in it. Length of conduit is comparable with length of this arc. Bushing is mounted with clearance around body of plant. It has outlet uniaxial to discharge tubular conduit of output electrode. Bushing has holes made tangentially to circumference of its internal surface for vortex injection of gas into clearance that forms combined axial stabilization of constantly burning arc, flowing out flux of plasma and electric arc penetrating metal which burns between cathode and cut metal.
