FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to cardiology and sports medicine. Patient's electrocardiogram is recorded at bicycle ergometric examination. It is analyzed by selecting serial time row of RR-duration and determining pNN5-percentage of pairs of RR intervals with difference of 5 ms of total number of RR intervals on 3d minute loading period. Wherein value of pNN5 determines level of physical working capacity. When obtaining pNN5 in range of 5.4–16.2 % level of physical working capacity is defined as satisfactory, if pNN5 is less than 5.4 low level of physical working capacity is defined.
EFFECT: method enables objective prediction of physical working capacity at submaximal load.
