METHOD FOR QUANTITATIVE DETERMINATION OF TRIAZAVIRIN BY VOLTAMMETRY (VERSIONS) Russian patent published in 2017 - IPC G01N27/48

Abstract RU 2614022 C1

FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to analytical chemistry, in particular, to voltametric method for determining drug triazavirin. Method can be used for quantitative determination of said compound in powder and its medicinal forms. Invention can be used in pharmaceutical industry for controlling technological processes and quality of pharmaceutical drugs, waste water and air zone of chemical-pharmaceutical enterprises, in pharmaceutical control laboratories for determination of active substances of medicinal agents. Invention is based on capacity of triazavirin to be recovered at various types of graphite electrodes and comprises converting triazavirin from a sample into an aqueous solution and direct (without preliminary accumulation on an electrode) voltammetric determination of triazavirin in it on a background of 0.1 mol/l nitric acid with registration of cathode peaks in square-wave mode capturing voltametric curves in range from 0.2 to (-0.6) V at a rate of potential sweep 160 mV/s. Concentration of triazavirin is determined by peak height in potential range from 0.10 to (-0.40) V relative to a silver chloride electrode by triazavirin standard addition method.

EFFECT: invention enables design a sensitive and rapid method for quantitative determination of triazavirin by voltammetry in substance and dosage form for controlling quality of drug.
