FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a catalyst composition for reducing content of NOx, comprising: zeolite material, having a chabazite framework, which contains silicon and aluminium, having a silica-to-alumina ratio (SAR) of about 10 to about 25; an extra-framework promoter metal (M) disposed in said zeolite material, and at least 1 wt% of cerium in said zeolite material with respect to total weight of zeolite, wherein said cerium is present in a form of selected from a exchange cerium ions, monomeric cerium oxide, oligomeric cerium oxide and combinations thereof, provided that said oligomeric cerium oxide has particle size of less than 5 mcm, wherein extra-framework promoter metal is selected from a group consisting of copper, iron and mixtures thereof, and is present in atomic ratio of promoter metal and aluminium (M:Al) ranging from 0.10 to 0.24 relative to framework aluminium. Invention also relates to a catalytically active porous oxide coating and to a method of reducing content of NOx in exhaust gas.
EFFECT: technical result is higher catalytic activity.
