SUBSTANCE: method comprises the stages at which the router is detected an its configuration is received. Configuration receiving is done by using one of a router's web interface, configuration file or UPnP protocol; analysis of configuration vulnerabilities. The analysis includes comparing the received configuration to the configuration with known vulnerabilities; actions on the remedy of certain vulnerabilities are formed. The actions include changes in one of the following: the router's web interface, the configuration file; in order to remedy the vulnerabilities formed actions are executed in the router.

EFFECT: provision of data security related to the router.
