SUBSTANCE: use: to estimate values of defects in tested object in ultrasound testing. Summary of invention is in fact, that performing evaluation of values of defects in tested object, implementing following stages: determination (S1) of tested object measurements data set; performing (S2) processing of certain measurement data set by synthetic aperture focusing (SAFT-processing) method; calculation (S3) of ultrasonic echo signals for plurality of defects values in tested object by means of echo signals simulating for testing scenario; performance (S4) of SAFT-processing for calculated ultrasonic echo signals of each of plurality of defects values; evaluation (S5) of defect value in measurement data specific set SAFT-processing by comparing of calculated ultrasonic echo signals SAFT-processing.
EFFECT: technical result is possibility of small defects values assessment based on SAFT-processing method.
