SUBSTANCE: optical imaging system comprises an imaging detector, including a first area which is sensitive to light in a first wavelength range from approximately 1.0 to 2.5 mcm, and a second area which is sensitive to light in a second wavelength range, which includes at least one of short-wave infrared spectrum band and medium-wave infrared spectrum band, multiple lenses for focusing light on imaging detector, made from material which is transparent in wavelength range from 1.0 to 5.0 mcm; and a beam splitter, placed between lenses and imaging detector and designed to split incident light into a first and a second wavelength range and directing them on to first and second areas of imaging detector. Imaging detector is a two-dimensional array in a focal plane. Pupil of optical system is located between lenses and imaging detector.
EFFECT: providing a multifunctional optical system by coverage of additional spectrum bands in range from 1 to 5 mcm.
