FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metallurgy. To provide improved magnetic properties of a strip made of electrical steel, having following composition of alloying additives, in wt%: C from 0.001 to 0.08, Al from 4.8 to 20, Si from 0.05 to 10, B to 0.1, Zr to 0.1, Cr from 0.1 to 4, iron and unavoidable impurities making up balance, melt is obtained from steel of said composition, strip is cast, having thickness from 6 to 30 mm in a horizontal installation, strip is rolled with deformation degree at least 50 % into a hot-rolled strip.
EFFECT: improved magnetic properties of electrical steel.
