SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to fuel vapors in vehicles formation reducing. Disclosed are methods and systems for fuel vapors formation reducing in vehicle with hybrid drive fuel tank. Fire-retardant foam gel layer is placed on fuel surface in fuel tank. Depending on of this layer location below fuel level in fuel tank fuel pump can be automatically switched off.
EFFECT: technical effect of disclosed solution is in reducing of fuel vapors amount in fuel tank.
