FIELD: food industry.
SUBSTANCE: chewing gum base contains substituted branched polysaccharides acceptable for use in food. Wherein the substituents in the saccharide units of polysaccharides provide the substitution degree equal to at least 1.0. The polysaccharides have branchings with the average length from 1 to 15 saccharide units per branch. Other gum base versions are also proposed.
EFFECT: invention provides a chewing gum base on the basis of polysaccharides with acceptable rheological properties.
