FIELD: food industry.
SUBSTANCE: chewing gum base comprises a block copolymer comprising at least one soft polymeric block and at least two hard, crystallisable polymeric blocks. Soft polymeric block has a glass transition temperature below 20°C, and the hard crystallisable blocks have a glass transition temperature higher than 20°C. Degree of polymerisation of each polymer block is at least 15. Soft and hard polymeric blocks contain units of different monomers.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to obtain chewing gums with suitable chewing properties, the residues of which after use are easily removed from various surrounding surfaces, to which they are undesirably attached.
