FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of light-absorbing coatings and can be used in laser treatment of metal surfaces. Laser absorbing coating used in processing of metal surface with CO2-laser, consists of two layers, first layer comprises a mixture of an organic binder Varnish AS-82 with soot in a ratio of 3:1, respectively, and has a thickness of 30…40 mcm and second layer comprises a mixture of an organic binder Varnish AS-82 F-647 solvent in a volume ratio of 1:3…4, respectively, and has a layer thickness of 3…5 mcm.
EFFECT: disclosed coating along with a high absorption capacity and a low shielding effect with respect to feed stream of laser offers high heat resistance, thermal conductivity, sufficient adhesion to substrate.
