FIELD: machine engineering.
SUBSTANCE: coating is performed in the form of a cylindrical annular girdle pattern coating, mechanical surface processing, matrix sample plant with a cylindrical bore and coating detachment from the substrate by punching a hole through a cylindrical sample of the matrix followed by determining the maximum load value needed to detach the coating. Before determining the maximum load on both sides of the annular belt eat through the ends to form a recess in the cylindrical surface of the specimen h=(1.2÷1.5)r and a width b=(3÷4)r, where h - the cylindrical recess in the surface, b - width of the groove, and r - the radius of the flow tool.
EFFECT: improved accuracy of measurement with a steel surface adhesion strength of the metal coating.
